Antique 1873 Colt New Line .32 Rimfire – 1st Generation, Matching Numbers
For sale is an original Colt New Line .32 Rimfire, First Generation, manufactured circa 1873-1884. This five-shot, single-action pocket revolver features a 2-inch barrel and a solid brass frame with case color hardening still very prevalent, making it a well-preserved example of Colt’s earliest metallic cartridge handguns.
The revolver is in good condition, with matching serial numbers on the underside of the barrel and beneath the grips, confirming its authenticity. The action functions properly, and the overall finish has aged gracefully with an attractive patina. The grips are intact, showing only minor wear appropriate for a firearm of this age.
This is a fantastic piece for collectors of Colt revolvers, Old West-era firearms, or early metallic cartridge pistols. As an antique firearm, it qualifies for sale/shipping where legally allowed.
